EXPERIMENTS
The more recent experiments to which I am giving
supports are here:
o BOLUX (BOLometer and light) is
studying the simultaneous thermal and light signals coming from a bolometric
crystal, for the study of the background rejection induced by
energy-degenerated alpha particles;
o CUORE (Cryogenic
Underground Observatory of Rare Events) is going to study the double beta decay
of Te with an array of 988 large mass bolometric detectors (see my
presentations to CUORE-meetings);
o CUORICINO (that is for
little CUORE) has studied the double beta decay of Te
with an array of 62 large mass bolometric detectors (see my presentations to CUORICINO-meetings);
o LHCb and LHCb(Mib) (Large Hadron
Collider b) will try to study mainly the Physics of the b-meson and measuring
the CP violation (see my presentations to LHCb-meetings);
o MARE (Microcalorimeter Arrays for a Rhenium Experiment) is going
to study the neutrino mass trough the single beta decay of Re with an array of
100 (first phase) micro‑bolometer (see my presentations to MARE-meetings).

TEACHINGS
I try to transmit my know‑how to the students of
the Faculty of Physics at the
My teaching is split into 5 courses.
Students of the III year of the Degree in Physic can
attend 2 courses whose subject is the Electronic for Signal Acquisition, micro‑controller
and Digital Signal Processors (the lectures can be downloaded from the links,
in Italian):

The third course is for the student of experimental
physics of the IV year. It concerns the Analog
Electronic for low noise applications, with emphasis to the particle detector
readout. This is an introductory course to electronic intended also for
experimental physicians (Lectures available in Italian from the link):
The fourth course is for student of the IV year who wish to become specialized in Electronic. It is an advanced
study of Analog Electronic (link under construction):
The fifth course is for student of the V year. It is a
laboratory for Analog Electronic (link under
